My name is John Bernd. I live in Grafton and I ride the Ozaukee Express to downtown Milwaukee for work. I've been riding for about 4 years. My initial reason for taking the bus was to save money on gas and remove the hassle of finding parking. Now I really enjoy the downtime on the bus to read, listen to music, or catch up on some work. I also find it's saved me money in car maintenance costs, as well as increasing the life of my car. I am so excited about this contest; not only for the chance to participate and win, but hopefully to show others that riding the bus is an easy, convenient, money saving way to help you as well as the environment.

I live in Menomonee Falls and I ride the Freeway Flyer on Route 79 of the Milwaukee County Transit System.
I have been riding for 10 years since I started working downtown. I love riding the bus because it saves me on gas and parking but also because of the friends I have made while riding. I am excited about winning the flip camera but also about the possibility of winning free bus rides for a year.

I like to ride the bus because it is not stressful, it allows me to daydream and get somewhere at the same time, plus all of that environmental good stuff. My name is Dave and I live in Kenosha Wisconsin. I ride Kenosha Area Transit and Milwaukee County Transit when I travel in the Milwaukee Area. I stopped driving and sold my van when the gas prices topped $4.00 a gallon a little over a year ago. Since then I've been using public transit exclusively.
I like using the bus in Kenosha because it takes me everywhere I need to go. Going shopping, or to medical appointments, or just taking on some of the fine recreational attractions in Kenosha is a breeze with the bus.
My hope is, for whoever wins the bus contest, that their message will help persuade many other folks to get out of their cars and take advantage of the wonderful resource here in SE Wisconsin.

My name is Grace, and I live on the very edge of Milwaukee County, in Wauwatosa. I ride the MCTS buses from my home to Marquette, where I teach English. I have been riding the bus off and on ever since I moved to Milwaukee, but I especially appreciate catching the bus to and from work now that I work downtown. It is so easy to finish my grading or do some reading on the bus on my way to work, and I never have to worry about getting another parking ticket! I'm also happy to get my car off the road. I am hoping this contest will produce an appealing commercial that will get more people interested in riding the bus; mass transit really can simplify life and make a difference for the community.
